Control Panel Design, Supply & Installation – Speke

This project involved the design, supply and install of an electrical control panel for the control of 2No chlorite mixing tanks. It consisted of 2No DOL starter for the control of re-circulation / storage tank fill pumps. This was complete with digital lead monitors for dry running protection of the pumps. There were also 2No DOL starters for the control of tank agitators to assist the blending process. Provision was also provided for a standby pump to be plugged into the panel in the event of a failure of the pump.

A stop monitoring system was also incorporated into the system with remote estop stations to shut down the process in the event of an emergency.

Electrical Panel Design, Supply & Installation – Manchester

This project involved the design, supply and install of an electrical panel for the control of an alkali storage tank system. This controlled road tanker filling and storage tank batching consisted of 1No ammonia, 1No caustic soda and 1No caustic potash storage tanks.

The system was controlled by a Siemens s7-1200 Plc, incorporating dry run protection of all pumps. The project also included tank heating for the caustic storage, scrubber system for the ammonia fumes and a demin water system for IBC blend batch filing. It was interlocked with a high and low tank gauging system to prevent over fill and heater control. A stop monitoring system was also incorporated into the system with remote estop stations to shut down the process in the event of an emergency.

Pipework Replacement – Tottenham

The project involved the replacement and connection back to an existing suction and discharge pipework on a solvent storage facility in Tottenham. We worked closely with both the client and pump supplier to ensure no disruption to production was caused. All pipework was fabricated and tested to ASME B31.1. Duration on site – 3 weeks.

Mild Steel Rubber Lined Vessels – Supplied to America

The project here comprised of a complete supply of four mild steel rubber lined vessels, internal stainless-steel stray bars and frontal pipework for a new gelatine plant, which was then shipped to America. The project was completed on time.

Newly Fabricated Vessel – Stainless Steel Grade 316

Here the existing vessel was in disrepair and had been patched up previously. The vessel was then measured on site and a newly fabricated one in stainless steel grade 316 was produced and delivered to site.
