Six Month Contract – Corporate Communications Executive – In House, retail, property. £30-35k pro rata
Fantastic chance to join a large and growing comerical and retail property developer based in the UK and Europe as a corporate communications executive working closely with the head of communications.
Based in Central London, the role is a six month contract that could potentiall go perm. The role will see the Corporate Communications Executive engaging with key influencers, stakeholders and the media, in particular across retail, property and fashion and to work closely with the consumer PR team to ensure all messaging is aligned.
This slick operation already engages several external pr support agencies across consumer and corporate so part of this role will involve being in regular contact with them to define their brief and review their proposals. You’ll also be responsible for managing incoming corporate pr requests as well as working with regional PR executives to find the local angle, particularly where new developments are being planned and built.
You’ll enjoy writing – a big part of the role, not only writing features and press releases but keeping the coporate social media presence up to date including the website; drafting Q&A’s and briefing documents and getting involved in helping to manage industry events and speaking opportunities.
Additionally, given the nature of the subject, there will be plenty of chance to hone your community liaison and crisis management skills – there is never a dull day!
You’ll have around three years experience either agency side of clientside undertaking corporate communications or b2b PR. If you have retail or property experience this is a bonus but not essential. What is, is the passion for b2b communications, working closely with the trade media to develop relationships and stories.
