Senior Account Manager – Music – Maternity Cover to start summer 2016 I £35-45K I Central London
My client is a leading music and entertainment agency who have a lovely team of super talented and strong spirited individuals, looking for someone at Senior Account Manager level to help cover a maternity cover from the summer (July/August start), for approx. 9-12 months. As a Senior Account Manager you will need to have full experience of working in the entertainment PR field, with lots of music contacts and of course a personal passion for music and knowledge and interest of all genres!
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on live events; this would ideally include festivals, concerts, individual tours, live entertainment events, album launches and venue events. The main focus for all their clients is to gather as much exposure as possible to ensure the said event is a huge success with maximum attendance. You will therefore come from a PR agency that does not necessarily have just pure film clients, the entertainment scope needs to be broader.
You might be currently working for a brand that has music partnerships and campaigns that are music focused, which results in you having the relevant media contacts which will be needed for this role. You will of course at this level be creative and strategy led, and will have developed an impressive network of multi-media contacts and taken on responsibility for projects or major parts of them.
The agency needs a good natured employee, who is highly motivated, loves to work in a team as well as being a self-starter, loves events and being out and about during the summer with an eye for new business on top!
With this being a maternity cover, you will need to hit the ground running and be prepared to manage the work load and most importantly continue the excellent client relationships that are currently in place. You will have the opportunity to earn extra £ for new business bought into the agency whilst you are there and of course build exciting new contacts!
