The role:
You’ll be part of a senior team of ‘leaders’ in ‘Head of’ positions – you’ll have three direct reports with social media responsibilities and three dotted line reports with more of a mainsteam PR / Comms hat worn. There are over 50 people in the wider marketing / comms function so this is a large team as well as external resource used for large campaign projects.
You will:
- Drive forward an innovative social media strategy that delivers significant success and competitor advantage in terms of brand loyalty, through highly engaging content
- Create and curate content that champions the brand and keeps the charity front of mind for supporters and the wider pubolic
- Define and commission content that can be used to meet the objectives of all their media as well as science communications and patient liaision teams
- Lead a social media team as they work with key stakeholders to create bold integrated marketing campaigns with national cut-through and tangible results
- Own and manage a roster of social media agencies that can be used for reactive, strategic and creative work
You
This is a senior role – you’ll have a minimum of eight years professional experience in either an agency or within a leading brand, You will be highy commerical too. Additionally, you’ll have:
- Proven experience in social media and digital content at a senior level
- Expert understanding of all social media platforms, channels and emerging trends as well as strong knowledge of owned, earned and paid media
- Significant experience of driving through cutting-edge campaigns with real call to actions
- Experience of managing mid to large teams with diverse objectives
- Thorough understanding of budgets and resource mgt.
