Head of Campaigns – high profile charity – £43k plus benefits
High profile national charity that now has its ‘cause’ in a top 5 position on our government’s agenda seeks a Head of Campaigns who will inspire and lead the in house Campaigns team.
Already the proud winners of numerous industry communications awards for ‘best in house comms team’, it contains a bunch of talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds who are all interested in one thing: affecting change.
The goal of the division is to dramatically increase the general public’s understanding and empathy towards their fight and build further demand for political change. The division equally supports the fundraising efforts and provides educational access to the public seeking to find out how they can access help.
The Campaigns team sits within a wider 50-strong team and includes Policy, Research, Public Affairs, Media, Brand and Internal Comms. The challenge is to integrate this activity to deliver effective, well researched, powerful, targeted and timely policy analysis, communications and campaigns – while supporting the rest of the organisation.
The team uses a variety of channels to run its campaigns, and therefore has a good working knowledge of various marketing, advertising, social and wider digital skills.
