Creative Director – Global client – international network – London based – £100K + package

Working across 25 brands, you’ll be able to use the full gamet of your creative skills reporting into the US Head of Creative you’ll bring everything you have to add creative value to this multi million pound account that crosses all aspects of the consumer landscape.

The Creative Director will lead the creative process and strategy for a massive household name account  Working closely with team leaders to galvanise the creative process, and help evolve program concepts from insights to idea to program.  You should have experience in PR, marketing and communications, and have significant experience working with other marketing disciplines as part of an integrated team.

This exciting role will involve:

  • Driving and owning the process to generate and sell-in creative, actionable and unique programs and strategies, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of client’s business and its consumer
  • Presenting and selling ideas/plans to agency partners and clients
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with multiple client stakeholders at the most senior level, representing a variety of internal divisions (e.g., PR, marketing, research and measurement, R&D)
  • Utilizing research to develop insights to help drive strategic creative programming
  • Acting as a catalyst to generate and embrace diversity of ideas and thinking across the team/client network
  • Developing creative briefs for ideation sessions; lead brainstorm sessions for client opportunities; develop/vet ideas generated in brainstorm sessions
  • Mentor staff across the office to help elevate the creative output for the client

Experience wise, you might be a senior associate director presently or a director in a agency where you take on a hybrid role of account management and creativity BUT you will always be strategic too.  You will have:

  • Proven experience in working with clients at the CMO and other C-Suite levels.
  • Ability to develop, recognize, understand and be able to help sell great creative work;
  • Demonstrated track record of solving complex brand challenges; strong balance of traditional, innovative, experiential and digital/social experience; proven ability to creatively problem solve
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills; captivating presenter and great listener; strong negotiating, persuasion and diplomacy skills
  • Should have experience of working in agency (PR, advertising, digital, etc.) and/or corporate communications experience (although our preference is PR agency)
  • Must have a solid understanding of PR
