Account Manager – Lifestyle Fashion I £27-32K I London
My client is an extremely well regarded PR agency, that has a wealth of experience and brands under their belt to warrant the brilliant reputation that they currently hold. The agency is privately owned, Central London based, with sister agencies under the brands umbrella, who are all specialists in their fields. The agency is very well known with global big brands as clients.
This particular Account Manager role, is to sit within the fashion lifestyle business which is currently a smaller team, which is appealing to some and not to all! Given it’s a small team, you will have exposure to senior members and really get stuck in and involved in all aspects of lifestyle PR. The accounts that sit under this role, are not product placements accounts. The perfect candidate will not come from a fashion product placement type agency! They are creative, content driven, multi-layered and integrated. The clients you will be working on are a soft drinks brand and a sports lifestyle fashion brand. If you’re interested in partnerships and sponsorships this could be an ideal role for you.
The ideal candidate will have a certain set of skills, preferably coming from an agency that has lifestyle fashion clients, big brands ideal but not essential. You will also have the following:
– Outstanding communication skills
– Impeccable writing skills
– An eye for detail
– Big ideas
– To multi-task and work well under pressure
– To be a leader and a mentor to the team
– An understanding of what is going on in London and other key cultural capital cities
– An excellent contact list across mainstream, national, influencer and consumer media
– An excellent influencer and social media network
Working alongside the fashion team you will:
– Help develop communications strategies
– Run a successful and consistent press office for up to three major accounts (max)
– Deliver and manage media output against set targets, on and offline
– Co-create and support content calendars for client social media accounts
– Write engaging collateral for media, bloggers and influencers
– Assist on event concepts and production from press days to large scale events
– Manage reporting and evaluation across a client portfolio
– Manage and mentor fellow team members
– Be an ambassador for both the agency and their clients
