Corporate Reputation Manager – Advertising agency in house I London I £55K
My client is a well-known advertising agency that have an established reputation within the industry. Being part of a larger network they have the contacts and resources to enhance their knowledge and growth. They are currently looking for a Corporate Reputation Manager to work with their global Director of Corporation Reputation.
The ideal candidate will currently be working in house at a creative services agency in a similar role, however you might come from a comms agency that have marketing / advertising agencies within their portfolio. You will be responsible for the overall alignment of communications/activities within the European Region, with specific accountability for the UK market. Your role is to clearly and strategically articulate the agencies work and people to establish and strengthen the brand.
Key areas:
– Collaborating with the leadership teams in your region to identify and craft stories that reflect their mission
– Providing guidelines, processes and tools to the organization to live their mission
– Enabling the UK / the region to communicate to three target groups: industries, talent and influencers
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Successfully drive and deliver a cohesive on and off line communications plan and calendar to ensure constant and clear messaging in the key markets
– Sustain and increase media coverage – both in marketing industry media but also vertical sector and national media
– Ensure all key successes – awards, clients, appointments – are successfully amplified to both internal and external audiences
– Craft content (e.g. case studies, IP, thought leadership, HR comms) – aligning regional content and celebrating the best from global
– Accountable for the regional social media strategy
– Regular reporting on budget and corporate reputation KPI’s
– Enable communication activities for HR; both internally and externally
– Support award submissions
JOB DESCRIPTION
– Govern the proper usage of CI/CD
– Collaborate with experts, key opinion leaders and charities to boost the agencies corporate reputation
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– At least 4 years’ experience within an agency (preferred) and/or corporate environment
– Client-side experience
– Established track record of successful reputation management for agencies or professional-service firms
– Having directly worked within PR, able to demonstrate contacts within the PR/media community
– Proven ability and highly versed in digital social; able to quickly and effectively develop content based on strategic priorities
– Excellent written capabilities, with proven record; e.g. press releases / speeches / thought leadership
– Champion of creativity and big ideas, having a clear understanding of the brands positioning
– Natural collaborator, works easily with a large cross-section of individuals from different backgrounds, skills and perspectives
– Ability to effectively monitor strategic programs and ensure that they are followed through in terms of process rigor and KPI reporting
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications or related degree
• In-and-out-of country travel may be required
