SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – IN-HOUSE – ONLINE CONSUMER LIFESTYLE BRAND – £40k
Hot new opportunity for someone looking for an in-house role at a well known consumer/lifestyle online brand, leading the social media activities – liaising with Head of Content and Social Media and managing the outreach and engagement with the online communities. Part of a close-knit team, the role will need someone who is evangelical about social media and is excited to work in a space that can be challenging.
The successful candidate will need to help create and implement the social media strategy, define the brand’s tone of voice and make is stand out amongst it’s competitors with daring and bold social media activity. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers through organic social media, plan and deliver campaigns and measure their impact across all social media channels.
You will lead ongoing creative and strategic optimization of established channels, and proactively seek out new opportunities focusing on –
- social media acquisition including community engagement and management and direct response acquisition campaigns
- integration with SEO strategy to grow visibility through outreach and development of content partnerships
- amplification of PR and ATL campaigns through social media
The successful candidate will have a full understanding of the social media landscape and know what it takes to identify an audience online, understand their interests and engage them. An ability to formulate ideas and deliver them based on experience and data.The role will suit someone with a genuine passion for social and digital as well as a curiosity about the future of how consumers interact with each other, consume and engage with content and develop affinity to brands online.
Broad knowledge of CRM, SEO, UX and online media buying in addition to social media and content is required.
The role has a UK focus but there is also interaction with US and Australian offices.
