Senior Digital Content Executive – Disability Charity – £24k-£30k – London
Are you looking to join a charity that really makes a difference to people’s lives? I am looking for a digital content specialist to join a leading UK organisation who provide services and fundraising support for people with a specific disability.
Great opportunity to create engaging content that promotes the charity products and services and increase income through digital channels. You will be responsible for digital content, strategy, planning, sourcing and implementation across the online shop and digital activity. This includes driving engagement, providing a seamless web experience and working with suppliers ultimately driving traffic to digital channels. The role also involves delivering Marcomms campaigns, promotional activity to the webship and maximising online relationships. You will develop a digital commercial strategy, integrate marcomms activity with digital content activity and develop relationships with third party digital fundraising platforms to maximise income generation, as well as support the creation of a new online shop to be launched to the public soon.
You will join a buzzy, dynamic commercial communications team that sit at the heart of a charity that has really stepped up a gear in the last 18 months. Candidates must have a strong editorial background, understanding of technologies that underpin digital communications, experience of building websites and a real passion for digital communications and marketing. You must have experience of optimising SEO, PPC, Online shopping and of supporting others to deliver digital content.
This is a key role in the charity communications team that will mean no two days are the same. You will use the website and digital channels to talk to a range of audiences all with different needs, and work with teams across the organisation to see how digital content can fit into their plans. A track record of success in digital content from a Commercial background is essential. You will also be entrepreneurial and results driven, with outstanding leadership, communication and influencing skills.
